DIRECTIVE OF THE JOURNAL
The Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is the board of Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology (CTJPP), which is owned by the owners of the company in which it is commercially and legally bound.
Duties; Works with the editor of the journal on the executive board of the journal. Follows and fulfills all commercial and legal responsibilities of the journal and is responsible for relations with financial statements and business organizations.
The Executive Board: Consists of The Board of Directors and the editor of Cyprus Turkish Journal of Psychiatry and Psychology.
Duties: It takes place between the editorial board and the board of directors and establishes a bond between these two boards. It is responsible for all scientific activities of the journal. It carries out relations with all institutions and organizations in which the journal cooperates. It meets once a week.
Scientific Boards
Editorial Board: Apart from the editor, this board consists of honorary, auxiliary, language, external relations, statistics and web editors. Taking into consideration the proposal of the current editorial board, executive committee decides who will be in the editorial board and how many people will be in the board.
For the current members (except for the external relations editor) the continuity decision is taken annually according to the electronic evaluation system data of the journal, with the joint proposal of the editorial board and the approval of the executive board. The decision of continuity of the external relations editor is taken every year with the joint proposal of the editorial board and the approval of the executive board.
This board meets at least once a month. It is decided within the coordination of the executive board and the editorial board on how to share the task.
Editor: The editor is the person or persons who have scientific publishing and professional experience working in the editorial board according to the electronic evaluation system data. The editor / editors are elected in line with the joint proposal of the editorial board and approval of the executive board.
Duties; Editors take part in the executive board of the journal. They are responsible for all kinds of scientific activities of the journal. They chair the editorial board of the journal. The editors are responsible for conducting the process related to the articles sent to the journal in accordance with the rules. They direct the manuscripts to the related editorial board members. They make the final decision on the articles. They takes part in bringing the accepted articles to the printing stage.
Co-editor: Articlers are submitted to the co-editors according to their relation and specialties. The co-editors decide whether or not the first review of the submitted articles is in accordance with the journal rules and publication policy. If the co-editor decides that the article does not comply with the rules and / or the publication policy, she / he shall inform the editor. Co-editor determines whether the articles that she / he finds in accordance with the journal rules and publication policy are sent to the referees. The co-editor is responsible for the completion of the referee review process in accordance with the rules set by the journal and in accordance with the publication policy. The final decision on whether or not to publish the articles is be given by the editor.
Language Editor: The language editor evaluates the articles submitted by the co-editor in terms of language (Turkish and English). In case of necessity, she / he can take the arbitration related to the articles. The co-editor makes the referee appointments of the articles that she / he decides to send to the referees. In case of necessity, she / he can take the role of the referee.
External Relations Editor:
Statistics Editor: The Statistics Editor makes the statistical evaluation of the manuscripts submitted by the co-editor. In case of necessity, she / he can take the referee position related to the articles.
Web Editor: The Web editor follows the journal’s correspondence with the international indexes and makes necessary attempts to participate in the new indexes in line with the decisions taken by the executive board. Conducts correspondence with international institutions and organizations.
B- Advisory Board: Consists of people with scientific publishing and professional experience. The Executive Board decides by whom and how many people the Advisory Board will be composed, and bytaking into account the proposal of the current editorial board.
The attendance decision for the current members is taken annually according to the electronic evaluation system data of the journal, with the joint proposal of the editorial board and the approval of the executive board.
