In this study, a systematic review method was used, and no fieldwork or specific scale was employed. The studies considered were in Turkish and English languages and conducted between 2010 and 2024. These studies consist of case presentations and review articles. This review study was conducted in two phases, in February 2024 and May 2024. A total of 11 studies were included following the literature review. As a result of these 11 studies, dialectical behavior therapy was found to be an effective method in terms of enhancing therapy compliance and accelerating recovery, as well as achieving results in a short period. It was observed that after the application of dialectical behavior therapy in individuals with borderline personality disorder, symptoms significantly decreased and even disappeared. Therefore, dialectical behavior therapy is considered an effective method in the treatment of borderline personality disorder.
